What are Lumineers?
Lumineers are essentially hi-tech veneers. They are fabricated cosmetic dental implements that are used to cover stained, worn, deformed, chipped teeth to produce near instant results. The main difference between the two is that lumineers are made of cerinate porcelain material. This effectively decreases the thickness of the material while strengthening it considerably.
This results in thinner but stronger devices. This in turn means less preparation time, effort and discomfort when fitting the lumineers on. On a plus side as well, lumineers are reversible. They can be taken off - unlike veneers that need a lot of your teeth material are removed for the veneer to be bonded.
Lumineers are so adaptable that it can be placed over existing dental work. Crowns and bridges pose no problems as they can easily be put under lumineers.
Can I get Lumineers anywhere?
No. The Cerinate porcelain used to make Lumineers can only be procured from Cerinate Smile Design Studio owned by Denmat Corporation. You need to be registered with the company to be able to make Lumineers. Check with us today and get the smile that you want!
